Louis Gray put on an energetic show today, held at the TopShop Venue on Londons northern bank.
When the music started the feeling of youthfulness and rebellion radiated immediately from her playful and colorful collection. Mostly simple silhouettes came walking down the runway, however in fabrics that were anything but.
Graphic, bold and in your face was simply the name of the game. Each look made a statement with everything from rubbery tall printed boots, patterned tights, and airbrushed makeup, to punk hair styles that were either taken sky high or tamed in a restyled mo hawk.
Colorful and textured pieces worn layered upon layers made it hard to spot any skin, but easy to get lost in the maze of prints. Although worn all together the looks could give even the London Summer Olympics advertising campaign a run for it’s money in the seizure inducing arena. Separately each piece could easily be mixed into any wardrobe and make the wearer right on trend.
